I did't know Gary all that well,
I carved with him and Bill,AJ, Ross,Jeff at his place a few years ago, went to dinner with him in Oscoda, and talked
with him on the phone a few time, But in that short time I thought that I'v known him forever, The impression he
left on me will last for ever...

About Gary:
Gary Patterson was just like a son to my wife (Alene), and I.
I have carved and helped Gary at the shows he went to all over the East Coast. I carved at Gary's Shop, and Gary
carved at My Carving Area. This went on for over 10 Years, and both Gary and I had a little heart trouble, Gary
had a by-pass, and I just have to take pills. The last show Gary and I went to was the New Jersey State Fair, and
Gary really worked hard there, setting all kinds of records and the people loved him for it. Gary was a GREAT Chainsaw
Carver and a good friend.
Bill Plant
